Bramble Troll: large (10ft tall)

DESCRIPTION:  Long ago, before there were regular or house trolls, before Balshtak the Brutal succumbed to the temptations of evil, the deity created the first bramble trolls from a collection of a species of now extinct thorn bushes.  At first, while Balshtak was still neutral, so were these ancestors of all modern trolls and ogres.  Unfortunately, when Balshtak fell into his devilish form, the bramble trolls, still connected with their creator, also became evil.   It was only after this that they started to spawn other varieties of trolls.

Bramble trolls appear to be giant masses of vines twisted into a humanoid shape.  They are covered in long, nasty barbs that are hard as steel.  They also have one horn extending from the center of their forehead and curving around toward their neck.

Ettin:

DESCRIPTION:  Ettins are powerful yet simple creatures of the earth.  Each of their two heads contain an unevolved brain about the size of a pea.  While Ettins are barely capable of speech, their heads are constantly jabbering on back and forth often arguing and cursing each other.  Ettins have powerful muscles made of clay and abnormally long arms.  Their skin in made of slate plates and their circulatory system is a complex system of roots.  Ettins are neutral and do not eat so are most likely to drawn into a fight only if the other party attacks out of fear or misunderstanding.

Gargoyle:

DESCRIPTION: Gargoyles are stone or iron statues infused with the consciences of ancient fiendish powers.  This makes them difficult to create and control as well as intelligent beyond the capabilities of most mortals.  It also makes them inherently unique (both in mind and body).  Despite the control issue these creatures are often let into the inner circles of their masters because of their intelligence and power.

Lizardman:

DESCRIPTION: The first lizardmen were once monitor lizards that used to roam free in the tomb of Gurd of the Double-deaths.  They were corrupted and morphed into their current, human-like state by the Death-stone, the sentient heart of Ocurst, disguised as a ruby in the Southern Forsaken Forest.  The lizardmen then took over the tomb, killing all the priests and paladins that inhabited it before the lizardmen themselves were eventually driven into the sacred forests around the tomb and thought to be wiped out.  Unfortunately, however, some escaped to inhabit Green Scale Forest, Yellow Scale Forest, and Dead Horn Swamp.

Minotaur:

DESCRIPTION: Minotaurs are a strange cross between mountain bulls and ogres.  They have a tall, powerful frame resembling ogres from the waist down and gradually resembling the long haired mountain bull more as you look higher up.  This finally culminates in a bull’s head complete with long, sharp horns (usually curved forward).  Minotaurs somehow have an extremely long lifespan.  In fact, the first two, secretly created by the evil inventor wizard Tolent are still alive after countless human generations.  These two Minotaurs are locked up in a magical labyrinth, but their offspring keep escaping.

Fallen Angel:

DESCRIPTION: Once a glorious celestial warrior, these “angels” fell either to the temptation of great power or were slain during the Celestial Alliance’s assault on Hell.  They are simultaneously beautiful and gruesome looking.

COMBAT: Devious, careful, and intelligent, these demons will usually save their spells for healing, but WILL use unholy grounds or Firebolt if the situation calls for it or if they think it could make their job easier.

CHARACTERS: Fallen angels are forever cursed for their betrayal and can usually no longer gain physical power.  However, a few have found loopholes in this curse.  Regardless, none have been known to gain character levels.

Fat Boy Bowmen:

DESCRIPTION: Just as Mettu are ogres that have been transformed into demons through some terrible ritual, fat boy bowmen are goblins transformed into a much more powerful demon.  However, in this case, the transformation consists of much less magic and much more chemical and mechanical procedures.  One of the processes is to gradually inject in the legs, arms, torso, and head, a mystery substance that is poisonous at first, but, once a tolerance is built up, heals goblins specifically.  By the end of the transformation, fat boy bowmen are swollen all over with a thick layer of this gelatinous, healing poison just under their skin.  This is the cause of most of their abilities including a slow speed, incredible automatic healing powers, and a low strength.  Fat boy bowmen closely resemble goblin cannonballs but with a thin neck, painfully compressed from the weight of a head filled with gel.

COMBAT: While fat boy bowmen may resemble goblin cannonballs, they certainly take different tactics.  Fat boy bowmen always stand at the maximum possible range and shoot their bows.  Nobody knows how they find the strength to pull back the bowstring, but it is common knowledge that they are incapable of wielding melee weapons with enough force to wound virtually anything.  Thus, when confronted by fighters, paladins, and the like, they simply hobble away to shoot or wait for the melee demons accompanying them to come to their aid.
