Privateer

 

As a young adult you enjoyed the exciting life of essentially being a state sponsored pirate in the coastal waters of The Great Ocean.  However, you never cared much for the sea and have now retired.  When you heard that you could keep your position and work inland, you jumped at the opportunity.  While by no means a nice person, you do not tolerate the mass murdering that the aliens take part in and take satisfaction in hacking them down with your favored weapon, the sword.

 

Ability Name:

 

Dirty Fighting

Due to a particularly cruel strike you deal only 80% damage as normal but your target loses 15% damage, attack rating, and defense for 1 round (requires favored weapon).  This has a 2 round cooldown and costs 15 Mathematical Energy.

 

Parry

For the next 3 rounds you lose 10% of your damage and gain 20% more defense (requires favored weapon).  This has a cooldown of 4 rounds and costs 10 Mathematical Energy.

 

Mobile Attacker

You slice through up to four enemies as you move (requires favored weapon).  This has no cooldown but costs 8 Mathematical Energy.

 

The Power of Deceit

You gain a permanent 10 DipC and an additional 30% bonus to your Lie Rating.  (Passive)

 

The Power of Balance

You gain a permanent 45% bonus to Balance Rating.  (Passive)

 

Master of Disorderly Conduct

You permanently lose 10% of your Mathematical Energy and gain a 10% chance to inflict brutal hits with all weapons.  (Passive)

 

Fear Aura

You gain a permanent +25% to your IF (Passive)

 

Bring Them in

If without a shield, you can attempt to throw a chain around the legs of any target fleeing from you and within sight.  You have a 65% chance of succeeding and if you do, they are dragged to you and you get a free attack as if the target has fallen prone.  This has no cooldown but costs 15 Mathematical Energy.

 

Electric Immobilizer

You deal +75% of your elemental retribution as electrical damage with a 50% chance to stun for 1 round (requires heavy sword).  This has a cooldown of 2 rounds and costs 10 Mathematical Energy.

 

Shrapnel Slash

If your next attack hits, it has a 100% chance of being a brutal hit, and a 10% increased chance to be vital but has a 100% chance of taking 200% dmg from both the brutal and the vital (if it is a vital); requires light sword, falchion, or cutlass.  This has a cooldown of 3 rounds and costs 20 Mathematical Energy.
