Elemental Mathemetician

For decades you have tirelessly devoted your life to understanding the laws of Mathematics.  While most see irrelevant, boring, and even useless numbers, you see the grand laws of creation and life.  You find that manipulating these laws seems now to come as natural to you as breathing.  Unfortunately, while you manipulate the universe for good, you have seen far too many of your colleagues fall to using the forces of math for their own nefarious purposes.  Your favored physical weapon is the staff for one very practical reason alone.  It grants you something to lean on when you are feeling weak from a lack of mathematical energy.

Available Primary Special Abilities:

 

Mathematical Energy Cost

Numeric Repositioning

Teleports one target 5ft per mathematical energy point spent.  You may spend as much Mathematical Energy as you want on this ability.

 

Fractional Chaos

Shoots out a 15ft cone that deals 50% of your elemental retribution stat in the form of lightning, 50% of your elemental retribution stat in the form of frost, and 50% of your elemental retribution stat in fire.  This costs 5 Mathematical Energy.

 

Enforce Mathematical Order

You gain the ability to reposition up to 2-7 creatures or objects to up to within 10ft of their original position.  This costs 4 Mathematical Energy.

 

Geometric Shield

Creates a cubic force field around you that adds 25% to your armor and reduces all elemental retribution damage by 75% for 3 minutes.  This costs 5 Mathematical Energy.

 

Quadratic Strike of Lightning

1 target is struck by a bolt of lightning causing him to take an extra 5% elemental retribution in the form of lightning and target loses one turn.  This costs 3 Mathematical Energy.

 

Quadratic Strike of Flame

1 target is struck by a blast of fire causing him to take an extra 25% elemental retribution in the form of fire.  This costs 3 Mathematical Energy.

 

Quadratic Strike of Frost

1 target is struck by a blast of cold causing him to take an extra 10% elemental retribution in the form of cold damage and target is slowed 20% for 10 sec.  This costs 3 Mathematical Energy.

 

Parametric Frost Pulse

Every other round for 6 rounds, each opponent within 5ft of target square takes frost damage equal to 80% of normal elemental retribution damage and slows target 10% for 5 sec.  This costs 8 Mathematical Energy.

 

Parametric Flame Pulse

Every other round for 6 rounds, each opponent within 5ft of target square takes fire damage equal to 90% of normal elemental retribution damage.  This costs 8 Mathematical Energy.

 

Parametric Lightning Pulse

Every other round for 6 rounds, each opponent within 5ft of target square takes lightning damage equal to 75% of normal elemental retribution damage and target loses one action.This costs 8 Mathematical Energy.

Mathematical Energy Cost

Mental Math

You can use 2 primary special abilities (PSA) in the time it would take you to use one.  This increases the cost of each PSA used with Mental Math by 20 Mathematical Energy.

 

Proofs

Increases the damage of one PSA by 15%.  This increases the cost of each PSA used with Proofs by 15 Mathematical Energy.

 

Long Division

Increases duration of any “Parametric…Pulse” ability by 4 rounds.  This increases the cost of each PSA used with Long Division by 20 Mathematical Energy.

 

Exponential Mass Side Effect

Adds 2^x targets to any damage dealing primary ability where x is one fourth of your level rounded down.  The extra targets only take 20% of the damage that the main targets took.  This increases the cost of each PSA used with Exponential Mass Side Effect by 45 Mathematical Energy.

 

Logical Master

For the next 10 minutes all abilities using “Proofs” deal an extra 50% damage.  This increases the cost of each PSA used with Proofs by 40 Mathematical Energy.

 

Human Calculator

For the next 5 minutes all abilities using “Mental Math” or “Long Division” gain an extra 25% damage. This increases the cost of each PSA used with Human Calculator by 40 Mathematical Energy.
